Helo TeamTami, This is actually day 2, post surgery. As part of Tami's recovery process we are shuttling care givers in and out. This assures she is not left alone and no single person has to stay so long. This has helped us deal with the distance. We are thankful for this hospital and they are taking good care of us.... Today I picked up my sister, she flew in from Detoit, she is a nurse and is keeping ICU on there toes. Tami has been sitting up a lot today, she pushes herself incredible hard I wish she would just rest but Tami is not one to let grass grow under her feet / bum... She should get out of ICU tomorrow at which time she could get cards or flowers. I will keep you posted as to her room number... Her spirts are down a little because it is a difficult recovery and its so hard to sleep without the epidural (which was taken out after surgery ) She is in a fair amount of pain but I really do not think as bad as the first surgery. She continues to be under the care of Dr Lambert whom we love and adore we would like to take her home with us. She loves Utah and will be there in oct. to take out her edowment. We truly believe that with out her this surgery would not have happened we are eternally grateful
I expect or speculate she could come home with Lana, that  would mean Tami would  be here another 3 weeks There is risk of infection  and as with any major surgery a possiblity of set back but for now the Doctor is very pleased with her progess. we will keep you posted and as always your prayers and words of encouragement are appreciated . Love to all !!! Tim and Tam
