I received an e-mail from Tami tonight and thought I'd share her remarks. She says she hasn't felt very well this afternoon and she doesn't know why....she can't figure out what she does different some days to feel worse. She told us she was approved by Mass. Health Standard today but she need to choose a plan under that insurance. She also has to wait for authorization from the insurance company and make sure Dr. Lambert is a provider. Karina has been helping her expedite state approval.
She spent the better part of the day on the phone with State of Utah to cancel Utah State Insurance and Social Security to change her address. She couldn't get an appointment with Dr. Lambert until June 14th because she is out of the office for a few days....All the waiting is hard on her I think. She says she's trying to stay resilient and take information as it comes. Peter was at the Hope Lodge last time we were there and she referred to what he said ...."Don't get too excited about the good news nor too discouraged about the bad news" He and his wife had fought a long battle with liver transplants and rejection....several months worth....so he knew what he was talking about.
She still says things may change at any time so she's trying to keep up her inner fight. and she says, "I just hope I'm doing all the right things" We'll say a prayer for that.
