Team Tami

Hi everyone.....Tami was wheeled away about 7:00 our time and 5:00 your time....We were impressed with everyone who attended to her....After several nights of little or no sleep....she was almost out with just the IV......The surgery should start within a few minutes and Dr. Lambert said she was prepared for about 12 hours....depending on what they had to do.  In April and also Today....everyone who speaks of Dr. Lambert calls her, world class, well respected, nice along with amazingly competent.  We found out today that her father is a highly respected anestesiologist here in Boston and that he has prepared several medical journals and that our Dr. Lambert helped him in her earlier years....She has been well prepared for her time with our Tami.  Tim and I talked about the journey to today and how last August we would never have imagined that she would be here in the hands of one of the best surgeons anywhere in the world.....WE wanted to get her the best options back in August and it is a miracle that she was led here.  We beleive that it is a product of so many prayers, blessings,Tami's faith, the faith of friends and family, and most importantly, the help of the Lord. 
Tami was peaceful and resting(and Tim said, resolute and determined to push forward) after her IV began.  We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything
