Team Tami:
We are sitting here in the waiting room watching the rain clouds gather....Tim just received a phone call from the front desk.  Dr. Lambert sent a nurse out to call and tell Tim that the surgery is going well.....longer than she expected....we think she has been in surgery almost 7 hours and they said she'd be in there until later into the night( maybe 8 or 9 o'clock)...so we think she's probably about half done....so probably 13 hours or more.  The nurse said that they wil be doing the chemo wash which is a good report....If they can't get almost all the cancer out, they won't do the chemo wash because it is only effective on the very small pieces that sneak into the crevices and can't be seen or microscopic pieces.  So Tim was especially happy about that.  Not much to go on but this is a good milestone report that we had eagerly waited for.  Dr. Lambert will probably come out and talk to us when they start the chemo wash.  AT that time they will tell us which organs they took out, and give us the full report.
