Good Morning Team.....I just got a phone call from Lana and Tim...."Dr. Lambert had a smile in her voice," Tim Said. She repaired the tear in her bladder and performed a colostomy to let Tami's intestinal track heal. She said Tami looked good inside and they even closed her all up with the staples again.....previously she had left a 3 to 4 inch incision open to drain infection and let the wound heal from the inside out, but she said all looked well, so they closed her all up. They left a drain in to prevent infection, but Tim said she felt like it was a success and all should go better from here. She will stay in recovery the rest of the night because there is no room in the ICU but Dr. Lambert said that's as well anyway. Hopefully she'll feel better soon. Lana was sleeping in the waiting room on the couch when Dr. Lambert came out. Thank you all for your care, concern, and prayers. Let's keep hoping and praying.....
