Tami's first marathon post surgery...

Hey Fatsos, Watch out! (For those of you who don't know, Fatso is the name of the running club that Tami is a member of. It is a term of endearment.. really!)

My mom just ran a marathon! Look at her go! It may not be 26.2 miles. In fact, it wasn't even .2 miles. But look at this woman go!!

One year ago this month, my mom went to the doctor thinking she had a bladder infection. That quickly turned to something a bit bigger, and she was having a minor surgery. But then that turned to something even bigger, and she was having a real deal surgery. And then the news was bigger than we could have ever imagined.

Now, a year later, she's recovering like a rock star! When I asked Caitlyn if she walked further than the others she said, "This is the ICU. Nobody even considers getting out of bed, let alone make it all the way around. So this is a first."

2012 St. George Marathon, here we come!
