What a day this has been.
They said Tam could go to Hope Lodge today but by the time you get her perscriptions, wait for her release papers, wait for the home care nurse schedule, wait for the perscription that was forgotten that the nurse noticed was missing, wait for this and wait for that, it is exhausting - can't imagine what Tam feels. She has been a real trooper through all this.
The home care nurse came at about 4:30, 5:00. Tam will need to be hooked up to an I V twice a day for her antibiotic. So I am learning to be a home care nurse. I will be doing the task in a day or 2. But with her help we will do great!
By the time she was settled she just crashed. But it dosen't last too long. She seems to wake up often.
Time to end this day.
