Happy Pioneer Day Everybody,

Today has been a very relaxing day for me and Tami.  She had a nice breakfast and then took a shower and washed her hair.  She napped a while and then had lunch. We curled her hair and then she had another nap. She has really enjoyed her sleep today and has not been on her feet much at all until the Doctor asked her if she wanted to put the boots on that help with her circulation.  She said she would go for a walk if she didn't have to wear the boots.  They make her anxious.  So we went for a walk around the hospital and she went back to the room and had her dinner and went back to sleep.
That's the whole day in a nut shell.  Lots and lots of sleep which was much needed after yesterday's ordeal.

The highlight of her day was when Allison from the Worcester Ward here in Massachusetts dropped in to visit her with her three sons.  The boys and Allison all made get well cards for Tami and then bought her a treat from Mike's Pastry Shop.  They said they wanted to share their favorite treat with Tami.  Then Allison let Tami borrow one of her favorite books to read.  We all had a very nice visit and Tami really appreciated their kindness.  I understand they also went to the Hope Lodge and did the same thing for Nate.  What a sweet family they have.  Visits just make everything a little better.

It's 1:30am now.  I have been chatting with Natalie for about 2 1/2 hours about life and how it always throws us curves. And how we have to just pick ourselves up and move forward with faith.  We have really enjoyed our visit tonight.  She is really a special lady.  I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have been able to come here to be with Tami and to meet so many great people out here.  It has been a highlight in my life that I shall never forget.

We are hoping for another good day for Tami tomorrow and look forward to better times ahead.  Have a great night and I'll get with you again.

Good Night All
Marsha
