Hi Team!

Momma had a busy day today! She ran marathons (went for a few walks, that is) and had a couple photo shoots (CT scan and an X-ray.) A doctor came in and was talking to her for a really long time, actually. She now knows more about mom than my dad did by the eighth date! She asked where exactly in Utah she lives, what exactly she does for work. How old us girls are. Where Dad is. Where she grew up... I was suprised she didn't ask who cut her hair! The conversation was like an investigation, and it was a little unnerving, actually.

After a few hours, Dr. Lambert came in and said Mom has no blood clots (they were worried because of her puffy feet,) everything looks really really good, and the high white blood cell count is a result of a tiny bit of fluid in her left lung, that she'll drain tomorrow. Very easy, in and out. Nothing serious.

Tonight as we shared the unnerving story about the nosey doctor, we learned that what she was doing was a bit of a cognative test. They were making sure Momma was all there! It's a good thing she came in now as opposed to Sunday....that day was a bit of a loopy day! And now we appreciate the nosey doctor:)

Mom's a little weak, with a scratchy voice still. But she is doing amazing! Everything that is supposed to happen, has. And all of the organs that were supposed to wake up, did. Knock on wood, and keep praying for her!

Love you all!

Maddie
